Detailed Description

The Revision attribute, which consists of Major and Minor Revisions, identifies the Revision of the item the Identity Object is representing. The value zero is not valid for either the Major or Minor Revision fields. If the Device Type of the instance is Embedded Component (0xC8), the Major Revision and/or Minor Revision may be zero.
