7. EVM Setup for J722S

This section is intended to give a quick reference of EVM related to SDK usage. Full EVM documentation is available at TDA4VEN, TDA4AEN and AM67 evaluation module.

7.1. EVM Setup to run SDK demos

7.1.1. UART terminal setup

  • Connect USB cable to micro USB port on EVM labeled as “DEBUG USB” (Refer J722S EVM User Guide)

    • 4 UART ports should be visible at the PC side

    • Port 2 from this is used this for QNX, RTOS UART terminal from A53

  • Setup UART for 115200 baud rate, 8 data bits, no party, 1 stop bit
