SimpleLink™ CC13x2 SDK 2.20.00.71 Release Notes
Introduction
SimpleLink™ CC13x2 Software Development Kit (SDK) is a set of software development tools that enables engineers to develop software applications on the SimpleLink CC13x2 family of dual-band and Sub-1GHz wireless microcontrollers (MCUs). This powerful software toolkit provides a cohesive and consistent software experience for all SimpleLink CC13x2 users by packaging essential software components, such as the TI 15.4 Stack with Frequency Hopping, RF-Proprietary examples and Bluetooth® low energy (BLE) protocol stack supporting Bluetooth 5.
The SimpleLink MCU portfolio offers a single development environment that delivers flexible hardware, software and tool options for customers developing wired and wireless applications. With 100 percent code reuse across host MCUs, Wi-Fi™, Bluetooth low energy, Sub-1GHz devices and more, choose the MCU or connectivity standard that fits your design. A one-time investment with the SimpleLink software development kit (SDK) allows you to reuse often, opening the door to create unlimited applications. Development Board Support
Known Issues
- For all SDK components, the importing of IAR projects through dev.ti.com is currently unsupported. Refer to the SDK Change Log for known issues of each of the SDK components.
Refer to the following user guides for known issues of LaunchPads:
- CC1312
- CC1352 Please note that the RF switch used on the LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1 EVM consumes approximately 1.5 uA which must be accounted for when doing power measurements. An alternative implementation where the switch is powered from an IO will remove this added current consumption
Refer to errata for known silicon issues:
- [CC1312] (https://www.ti.com/lit/SWRZ078)
- [CC1352] (https://www.ti.com/lit/SWRZ077)
Versioning
This product’s version follows a version format, M.mm.pp.bb, where M is a single digit Major number, mm is 2 digit minor number, pp is a 2 digit patch number, and b is an unrestricted set of digits used as an incrementing build counter.
M - Is incremented for the first release every year. 1 -> 2017, 2 -> 2018, and so on..
mm - indicates the specific quarter of the year the SDK was released. 10 -> Q1; 20 -> Q2; 30 -> Q3; 40 -> Q4
