Preferences Panel

Overview

Settings that are general for Sensor Controller Studio and not specific to any project can be configured in the Preferences panel.

Shortcut : Ctrl + P

Default Settings

Click Load defaults to reset all fields to their default values.

User Confirmation

After modifying one or more settings:

• Click Apply to use the new settings
• Click Cancel or navigate to any panel in the project tree to discard the modifications

Note that some settings will not take effect until Sensor Controller Studio has been restarted.

Storage

The preference settings are stored in the Windows Registry under the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Texas Instruments\Sensor Controller Studio\Preferences

Run regedit.exe (Registry Editor) to access the Windows Registry.

IMPORTANT: Use extreme caution when editing the Windows Registry. Modifications to other parts of the Registry can severely damage other applications or computer functions.

The Sensor Controller Studio preference settings can safely be removed, but should not be edited manually.

The Sensor Controller Studio uninstaller does not remove the preference settings.
