ISC PrivID Configuration

Introduction

This chapter provides information on the TISCI message API for configuring ISC PrivIDs for hardware accelerator subsystems.

TISCI Message ID Message Name
0x9019 TISCI_MSG_CONFIGURE_ISC_IDS

Note

This API is only supported on J784S4. It is not available on other SoCs.

Warning

The target subsystem must be fully powered on before sending this message. Sending while the subsystem is powered off will result in undefined system behavior.

TISCI_MSG_CONFIGURE_ISC_IDS - Configure ISC PrivIDs

The configure ISC IDs TISCI message programs the ISC PrivIDs for all internal initiators within the specified subsystem. This is a one-time initialization call invoked by the host during system bring-up, after the corresponding subsystem has been powered on.

This message must be sent once per subsystem during system initialization after the subsystem is powered on.

Usage

Message Type Normal
Secure Queue Only? No

TISCI Message ID

TISCI_MSG_CONFIGURE_ISC_IDS          (0x9019U)

Message to configure ISC PrivIDs

Message Data Structures

struct tisci_msg_configure_isc_ids_req

Subsystem ID Values

The subsystem_id field must be set to one of the following values. Passing an unsupported value for the current SoC returns an error.

Macro Value J784S4
TISCI_ISC_IDS_SUBSYS_VPAC0 0 Supported
TISCI_ISC_IDS_SUBSYS_VPAC1 1 Supported
TISCI_ISC_IDS_SUBSYS_DMPAC 2 Supported
