Linux Utilities 2.24
Linux Utilities consist of the following three applications
that support the Codec Engine framework:
- CMEM: A memory manager that can grant contiguous
memory for use as image or video buffers. This is provided
in the Linux Utilities download.
- SDMA: A programming module that provides ARM Linux
applications with access to DMA functionality. This is
provided in the Linux Utilities download.
- Low Power Manager (LPM): A power management
module that integrates with the DSP/BIOS PWRM module to
enable DSP code power management in ARM-DSP devices. This
is provided in its own download.

to download or to view more detailed information, including the product
release notes. The product release notes and documentation are included
in the product installation but are also made available separately here
to enable review prior to download.
Note that
you will be prompted to accept a license and then send an e-mail when
downloading a releases. This e-mail is stored in a list used solely for
the purpose of informing you of any patch releases, upgrades, updates,
or emergency releases (for problems we regard as especially critical)
associated with the release you have downloaded.
