Codec Engine 1.10
Codec Engine 1.10 adds significant new and updated collateral to that
provided in Codec Engine 1.02 (available via the DaVinci DVSDK). The
collateral enhancements include:
- An application note on how to interface
DSP-resident pre- and post-processing functions with codecs in a Codec
Engine DSP Server. The application note describes how to enable data to
flow directly between the codec and the pre/post-processing function
rather than having to go back up to the ARM and down again.
- More detailed collateral on how to integrate
custom algorithms into Codec Engine.
- Documentation and examples on how use Codec
Engine as a Linux shared library.
- Documentation and examples on how to include
Codec Engine configuration and build steps in an external make file.
There are some minor
incompatibilities with Codec Engine v1.02. See the release notes for
details.
