Introduction
The Proprietary RF software package addresses low-power radio communication on the SimpleLink™ CC23xx wireless microcontrollers. The Proprietary RF software package contains:
- Example projects how to use the Radio Control Layer (RCL) commands.
This is release version 7.20.00.

The SimpleLink™ Low Power F3 Software Development Kit (SDK) allows easier product development by combining TI-drivers and RCL in one unified SDK.
What’s New
Note: The formerly called “500 kbps MSK PHY” with FEC (Forward Error Correction) has been renamed to “250 kbps MSK, FEC PHY”. This is since the FEC used is a 1/2 rate FEC. This name change does NOT affect the functioning of the PHY.

Validation
All Proprietary-RF examples were build and tested with the IDE’s and toolchains mentioned in the SDK release notes.
Versioning
This product follows a version format, M.mm.pp.bb, where:
- M is a 1 digit major number,
- mm is a 2 digit minor number,
- pp is a 2 digit patch number,
- bb is a 2 digit incrementing build counter.
