Release v1.40.00.00

Release Date: 2017-March-23 - Design Guide - Proximity - Added Proximity Design Considerations section. - Modified Proximity Ground and Shielding section. - Added Proximity Range Test section. - Noise Immunity - Updated noise immunity design guide to include updated ESD, EFT, and conducted immunity information.

  • Software Library

  • Device Family

    • Adding ROM header file and pre-compiled object library columns to the device family description tables to indicate which ROM header files and which pre-compiled libraries correspond to a given device.

  • Glossary

    • Updating the touch threshold description to clarify that the maximum valid touch threshold in self capacitance mode is 127, as 128 would result in the threshold point being calculated as LTA - (LTA/128)*128, or LTA-LTA, which results in a threshold point of zero. In mutual mode, thresholds greater than 127 may be used.

Revision History of CapTIvate Software Library Releases

Although CapTIvate™ Software Library and CapTIvate™ Design Center GUI are delivered together, the CapTIvate Software Library has its own version tracking and change control. Every major library release comes with change control data in the Software Library API guide that describes any new features that have been added and any changes to existing functionality. - Access the software library change control document - Access the software library API guide
