1. Overview

1.1. PSDKQA Package

Processor SDK QNX Automotive (PSDKQA) and Processor SDK RTOS Automotive (PSDKRA) together form a multi-processor software development platform for TI’s Jacinto 7 family of SOCs. The SDK provides a comprehensive set of software tools and components to help users develop and deploy their applications on supported J7 SoCs.

This document accompanies the Processor SDK QNX Automotive (PSDKQA) release 7Q70.07.00. The release supports QNX SDP 7.0 and has been sanity tested on both TI J721E Alpha and Beta EVMs.The binaries included in this package are intended for assistance in development, debug and/or system design addressing specific use cases. The binaries are NOT to be used for production.

The source code provided in this release to enable QNX content on the J7EVM, is provided as an example only. The source code is still under development and debug. Issues are expected and patches will be provided where possible. API source code changes may occur for PSDKQA_7Q70_06_02. The intent of this package is to provide a QNX SDP 7.0 development target, and show basic integration of TI S/W deliverables.

The TI J721E Alpha EVM or Beta EVM, can be used as the test platform for both the DRA82x and TDA4x family of devices from Texas Instruments.

The Processor SDK QNX Automotive (PSDKQA) for Jacinto 7 is an addon package to the PSDKRA, which enables PSDKRA features and content for a QNX environment. The PSDKQA is used to associate and validate multiple packages together, thereby providing a verified development environment. Packages referenced by the PSDKQA release are: • Texas Instruments PSDKRA (Processors SDK RTOS Automotive) Release • QNX Board Support Package for J721E EVM Included in the package are sample binaries built for QNX7.0 that showcase the building blocks of Texas Instruments ongoing development on the J721E EVM.

Note

Refer PSDKRA Components for more information about each individual component.
