What’s New
A summary of changes made in the current release of this product can be found in the product Change Log.
Initial TI clang support! (requires a separate download)
Initial FreeRTOS ROV support! With this feature, you can now use ROV to inspect FreeRTOS kernel objects.
SysConfig-based projects will generate a toolchain-specific linker command file containing a configuration-specific, ordered list of required libraries to link against. Most examples now take advantage of this, and use this generated file rather than a long list of explicit libraries. This makes playing with SysConfig easier as you can add/remove/tweak your settings and you no longer have to worry about managing the library list!
Upgrade and Compatibility Information
To address TIDRIVERS-4181, the TI-RTOS kernel projects have been merged into a single
cc32xx
project. Previously a project was provided for each board, but in reality they were all identical. This better enables users to move across boards/devices in the CC32xx family, as well as reduces the size of the SDK.To address TIDRIVERS-4245, and similar to the previous bullet, board-specific linker command files (previously in
source/ti/boards/<board>
) were consolidated into asource/ti/boards/cc32xx
directory.Hand-authored <board.c> files have been removed from
source/ti/boards/<board>/*
as these are now generated by SysConfig.
