Description
The $self property of a typed object simply returns itself. This is useful for bulk assignment when «tobj» is a JavaScript variable; without this property, assignment of a JavaScript object to «tobj» would simply replace the typed object with the JavaScript object rather than performing a field-by-field assignment to the typed object.
