Windows Driver Package v1.0.0

Audience: For TI Cloud Tools users who do not have administrative privileges.

Description: TI Cloud Tools allow users to interact, using a browser, with devices connected to your computer via a USB debug probe (XDS100, XDS110, or XDS560). Windows requires device drivers to be installed for communication, and these USB device drivers can only be installed by a user with administrator privileges.

In some environments, not all users have administrator rights for the PCs they use. The purpose of the driver package installer is to allow an Administrator to pre-install the driver components needed for TI Cloud tools separately from the rest of the software, avoiding the requirement that all users be granted administrator rights. Driver installation could be pushed out to multiple computers (in a lab setting, for example) through an existing software distribution process, or can be installed as a one-off requirement for a single user.

The driver package installer is applicable to 64-bit Windows 10 only. Linux and MacOS do not require additional kernel drivers for use with TI Cloud Tools.
