=== LAB SETUP ===

1. Download all components to a local directory. 

2. Extract the file <CCS5.2.1.00018_win32.zip> to the local directory. 
   This will create a directory CCS5.2.1.00018_win32\

3. From inside the directory CCS5.2.1.00018_win32\, execute the installer <ccs_setup_5.2.1.00018.exe>
   Use c:\ti as the installation location

4. Execute the <AM335X_StarterWare_02_00_00_06_Setup.exe>
   Use c:\ti as the installation location

5. Install a new release of the TMS470 compiler.
   - Start CCS by double-clicking on its icon. Choose the default workspace.
   - Go to menu "Help" --> "Install New Software"
   - In the drop-down menu "Work with:" select "Code Generation Tools Updates" 
   - Expand the TI Compiler Updates and select "ARM Compiler Tools" Version "4.9.6"
     (you may need to uncheck the box "Show only the latest versions of available software")
   - Click Next
   - Click Next again
   - Accept the license terms. Click Finish.
   - Restart the workbench as instructed. The plug-in is installed.    

6. Copy the file <Cheat_sheet.txt> to the directory c:\ti
   
7. Install the Terminal plugin (requires an active internet connection)
   - Start CCS by double-clicking on its icon. Choose the default workspace.
   - Go to menu "Help" --> "Install New Software"
   - Click on the hyperlink "Available Software Sites"
   - Scroll down on the list and check the box beside the following Location:
     http://download.eclipse.org/tm/updates/3.3
   - Click OK
   - In the drop-down menu "Work with:", select the entry that corresponds to the link in the previous step. Wait until it finishes loading.
   - Click on the checkbox next to "Target Management Terminal" under "TM and RSE 3.31 Main Features". Click Next
   - Click Next again
   - Accept the license terms. Click Finish.
   - Restart the workbench as instructed. The plug-in is installed.
